Happy Holidays from the Arc Team & Our Work from Home Companions
2020 has been an unpredictable year filled with new challenges, new opportunities, and a chance to evaluate our lives and prioritize what is most important to us. This holiday season, we would like to take a moment to share what this year has meant to the team at Arc Intermedia. It’s clear that things went a little haywire for a while, and we’re going to chalk that up to the cats being in charge (see picture above.)
We are hopeful that 2021 will be filled with many successes, lots of laughter, and cherished time with friends and family. Until then, enjoy pictures and words of gratitude from some of our extended work from home staff, stay safe, and have a slightly different but still wonderful holiday season.
A Thankful Heart
“I’m thankful for:
- The brilliant scientists who developed the covid-19 vaccines.
- The frontline workers who risk their own lives to care and comfort COVID patients.
- The volunteers who keep the foodbanks operational.
- A resilient Arc team that never lost faith in such uncertain times.”

The Resiliency of Children
“I’m grateful for the incredible resiliency of my children. Sure, there were a few (thousand) breakdowns and explosions, and I expect a few (thousand) more. But overall, they’ve been understanding, accepting, patient, brave, loving, and hilarious, which made it much easier for me to maintain my sanity and to focus on being able to provide the best possible service to our clients (and to said children and my wife).”

The Ability to Adapt and Succeed
“If this year has shown us anything, it’s that we are adaptable, resilient, and full of ingenuity. From rapid vaccine development to shifting the way we interact with each other and adapting to new ways of doing business, our daily lives have been thrown off course and yet we keep going. Advances in technology and new ways of tackling old problems have allowed us to carry on. Things have not been easy, and there have been loses along the way, but together we’ve risen to the occasion. I believe we will come out the other side stronger and better equipped to handle whatever the future holds.”

A Company that Plans for the Unexpected
“In light of everything 2020 has thrown at us, I’m extremely grateful to work at a digital-first agency. With a pandemic disrupting normal operations for many businesses, Arc Intermedia was uniquely prepared to keep working without missing a beat. I’m thankful for all the foresight and planning that set us up to be in such a strong position to weather the storm and support our clients.”

Reassessing Priorities
“On both a personal and professional level, 2020 has forced us to rethink how we live our lives. It remains to be seen if the work habits we’ve picked up (both the good and bad) stick around after this year, but something I’m thankful for is the way this year has forced us all to rethink what’s important and what we want out of life.”

This Year was a Blessing
“This year may have been difficult, but I prefer to look at it as a blessing. I was given the opportunity to reevaluate my priorities. I was shown the importance and value of the friends and family in my life. I was able to focus on things and people that brought me joy. And when it comes to business, I was able to see how lucky I am to work for a agile company with great, compassionate people. It’s been a difficult year, but I’m taking the lessons I learned and choosing to grow and hopefully become a better person as a result.”
